I am excited to share today a project close to my heart. For years I’ve jotted down every tidbit of information I learned about Nusayba bint Ka’ab and outlined different story ideas in my phone’s Notes app. This past Ramadan, I was driving alone, and in the silence, the verses finally began to flow. I sat there essentially free styling and crafting the story I’ve now gathered into my first children’s book. Well, to be accurate, this isn’t the first book I’ve written, but it’s the first I’ve completed. I have another very special project to share later.
But for now, I am sharing this beautiful cover illustrated by the talented Rania Hasan.
